Yes, I saw these DNS IP addresses in your previous posts.

No, I am not a TP-Link employee - I was just tryinhg to answer your questions.

If you want to contact TP-Link directly, I already posted their local tech support contacts.

If this was helpful click on the arrow pointing upward to make it blue. If this solves your issue, click the star to make it blue and mark the post as a "Recommended Solution".

To be clear, I am not a TP Link employee.

A device's DNS can override the router's DNS so that is why I questioned the device's DNS settings.

  @ArcherC8 - I understand.

Do TPLINK employees come into the forums or is this strictly volunteer?

They come to the forum and are identified by TPLink by their name. You can message them directly by clicking on their name.

  @ArcherC8 - So why don't I see any TPLink employees on this thread?

The questions I am posing are not something that can be addressed by non-TPLink employees.

And the email support is useless.  Their repsonse to email are just 'cut & paste' replies.

I don't think I will buy another TPLINK device when I replace this one.  In fact, I may just buy another router and throw this one in the garbage.

I have noted that they generally respond when no one else has.

The Asus forum does not have employees on it that I am aware of and deals with a lot more technical stuff than this forum. Very knowledgeable people. There are many users that know more than the employees.
