Model: Archer AXE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.9

Hello all, question.  I just replaced my netgear nighthawk routers in my office with these TP link Archers.. Nice device.. Fast.  Question, I am puting them in as Routers, becasue i want to not let devices see the local LAN for security purposes, lan 192.168.1.x , TP router using DHCP for 192.168.0.x.. Also i want to be able to enable the Guest network for clients that come in etc.. which works perfectly.

Now if i wanted to let devices on the .0 network, see say a printer on the .1 network, i know there is a routing table in this thing, would a static route work to do that?  Or how is the easiest way to go about this IF its needed.. (it most likley is not, as my company doesnt relaly have laptops and such that need this access, but on the rare occasion i was wondering if its something i can enabler maybe via a mac-id to a rule or something).. dunno.. Thoughts?

And why i dont use it as an access point is because of hte guest network feature that i want..

If just throwing a lan access point thats locked down is the quickest easiest way, i can easily do that also, as i have these nighthawk routers i can use.

Thanks

Can you post your routing menu screenshot:

The easiest way to check if you have acces to your printer is to ping its IP address in cmd prompt:

given its IP address is 192.168.1.251.

@terziyski I can ping the printers, one at say 192.168.1.252 , but the Wifi Network is on 192.168.10.x ..  Here is the routing table.  I don't want to give full access to the network so people can see file shares and such.. in a perfect world just allow specific routes to specific things.

@SuBDivisions I have done it, the routing is correct.. I was able to Print to network printers by re-adding them thus creating a proper connection, and at the same time keeping the Lan out of the picture if someone does a network scan.

Thanks all.

(PS this was on a macbook, but will work the same on windows).

I was going to post that the network route has been automatically added to your routing table and a simple re-adding the printers will suffice:
