Hi everyone,

I'm facing an issue where my Ethernet connection through Deco X60 units delivers lower speeds (~120Mbps) compared to both the WiFi connection on the same Deco units (~250Mbps) and a direct Ethernet connection to my cable modem (~300Mbps). This occurs despite using Cat6/Cat7 cables and having the latest firmware on the Deco units. The same results were replicated on a PC and a Mac Mini.

Has anyone experienced similar issues or have any suggestions on how to resolve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  @glencandle

I assume you can reproduce that on the main Deco unit, and you are using the same cable to test on your cable modem and you Deco unit.

To diagnose, I suggest swapping the ports on the main Deco, connecting the modem to the other port of the main Deco.

  @yves_b I have done all of that but the results are the same.

For whatever reason the Deco maxes out at 120Mbps when connected to PC/Mac using Ethernet, but I can get reads up to 250Mbps when connecting to same unit via Wifi.

It's frustrating because I'm trying to clean up my mesh network so that all my PC's/TV's are wired, but I guess I'm going to have to go old school and just wire everthing up from a router through the walls/attic.
