My Windows 11 laptop is normally connected to a Deco M5 via wifi  without a problem. When I visited my son recently I wanted to connect to his Deco XE75 Pro network but that failed miserably. I connected but it did not connect to the internet" "no internet". My laptop showed all the correct network data in the network and internet settings panel. However, my son's app for the XE75 Pro on his iPhone did not show my laptop connection at all.

Very frustrating.

Connecting via Ethernet: no problem.

Hi, Have you checked whether the wireless security on Deco XE75 Pro is set to WPA3?

It is suggested to keep it on WPA2 to see whether it helps.

Please also make sure the windows 11 laptop gets IP addresses via DHCP, not static IP.

Then please go to Deco APP>More>Block List to see if any device has been accidentally added here.

Only WPA2 was used. IP addresses on the laptop are not static. There is nothing blocked. Guest network did not work either. Phone hotspot had same problem.

  @hapz Having the same issues with other devices, not just windows.  Android too

I have TP-Link Deco AXE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E and also  cannot connect to windows 11 the internet it connects fine to my local.

  @BFB I have the same issue. One iPad with this issue, and one win11 computer. Bizarre and very frustrating. All other devices connect without issue.

  @hapz I'm having a similar issue, my windows 11 laptop, 1 raspberry pi and another IoT device refuse to even sign into the XE75 Pro network, main as well as IoT networks. This never was an issue with the Deco M5.

My Decos are in Access Point mode.

 

Can anyone help?
