Merry Christmas!

I am using this RE450 extender as a temporary fix to extend my network for guests, but the connection is inconsistent and the system log records “2.4/5GHz failed the connection to the front end, due to: Scanning failed” repeatedly.  In fact, the system log only contains this entry. Any suggestions to address this would be greatly appreciated.
