It really depends on the device. If its not powering on then you need to check:
- the physical power button, make sure its pressed on
- The power cord: Make sure the cable is fully seated into the brick and that the barrel connector is firmly connect to the router and the AC plug to the wall
- Change the outlet
- change out the power cord and or brick. As long as the barrel connect fits and the AV rating is the same any 3rd party plug should work.
If that all checks out then you would want to review your proof of purchase and contact support if you are still within the 2-year warranty. the Archer C5400 is an older product so the chance that it is still in warranty is slim but you can check.
