Model: Archer AX75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20230606 rel.1786(5553)

Is it really impossible to assign names to WIFI clients?  Some of the clients have reasonable names like my smart TV and my IP camera butr most of them are "network device" or "Private"  Like can I tell my iPhone to tell the router what I want it called?

I have the Tether App and have used the web interface but can see no place to assign names to a specific MAC address.

Thanks in advance.

I don't use the Tether app and my router is not the AX75, however in looking at the Tp-Link emulator page the web interface is pretty much the same.

Click on Clients under Network Map.  In the displayed clients list, click on the small pencil icon to the right of the displayed client's name.  A window will pop up that allows you to change the client's name. The router will then remember the name.
