New Release Deco Firmware Updates Released to Additional Models - July 2023
Hey Deco Users!

Make sure to check for updates often, as more models are receiving the update each week and not all will be listed in these update posts. The models listed below are only the models listed as having received new features - additional updates were made available for stability and performance improvements.
If you have already received the features, continue checking for updates to your network as fixes and patches are being released each week.

Many models have received additional updates over the last few weeks, so make sure that you are using the latest version for the best experience.
Please See the Firmware Download Page for a List of Features Added for Your Model!
*Note: If there are other Deco models in the Mesh network, some features would no longer show up, such as Signal source and Connection Preference; while others only need the support on the main Deco, like VPN, Static Route, MTU, and smart DHCP.
As a reminder, our teams do not have any information regarding what models the firmware is being developed for and when we could potentially see a particular release. Please refrain from asking "When Will 'X' Model Receive the Feature?"

Unfortunately, we just dont have any real idea to what models will receive the update and when; we only really know that the end goal is for the firmware to be brought to as many users and networks as possible.
I would suspect that these models will see the update soon, but we have no indication of when that may be.

Hi
Installed today an X50 Outdoor (V1) to add to my XE200s and XE75.
Currently the X50 Outdoor is on firmware version 1.0.1 but I don't see any update available when checking in app, and when I click on link per your post, I also can't see any link to download the updated firmware.
Am really keen to get this updated ASAP as was previously steering specific devices to connect to specific units - and since adding teh X50 I can no longer do this (i assume because that also needs the firmware updating).
Please advise, and many thanks!

@Rossy100 this feature is available on X50 outdoor with 1.2.1 20230607. If you are not getting the option to update in app then you could download the firmware manually from the TP Link site and upgrade through the WebUi.

@Mfusa1 thanks but the updates do not appear. However I have just seen on another thread that there were apparently issues with the update and so it has been pulled pending fix/re-release. That would explain why is no longer available to download for me!

Is anyone else having real issues with this firmware. I have 6 XE75 Pros around my house and after upgrading the wireless DHCP server is a nightmare. It won't assign IPs thus devices are connected but have no internet access. This happens to iPhones, iPads and laptops. Devices that are hardwired need to be unplugged and then plugged in again. Even re-starting the device doesn't help. There doesn't seem to be a downgrade option. Any help is appreciated.

Hi, welcome to the community.
It would be great if you could start a new thread separately about Deco XE75 Pro, and provide more details about this issue, such as:
- Did it occur multiple times a day or are you able to stably reproduce this issue?
- Did temporarily changing the DHCP start address (from 192.168.68.100 to 192.168.68.99 or something else and then reverting back) help restore the connection?
The new firmware feedback is always important. I did see one feedback earlier about Deco XE75, not Pro, but his issue is quite intermittent and does not occur often.
DHCP randomly hanging, then drops connections
Thank you very much.
Best regards.

@Riley_S thanks for this update! It is still disappointing that Deco X60 (V1) has not received any updates in two years. Pretty poor customer service to stop providing updates one year after launch. Especially in today's environment.
is there any plan to release updates, or should I move on to another product?
