Archer AX55 V1 Firmware 1.2.2 Build 20230511 dropping internet daily
Received a notification of new firmware and updated to 1.2.2 Build 20230511 5 days ago. Since then we have had loss of internet at the router 4 times over 4 days. In my troubleshooting I noticed that when I tried to login to the router to check status, it presented the login, accepted pass but would never load the interface. Speeds are normal and ping to router is 1ms so seems the connection is good. The problem seems to be at the router itself.
Has anyone else had a similar issue with connections since upgrading to this firmware? It is the only change that has been made and never had this issue prior. I wanted to get some input prior to reverting the firmware.

I think the Subject "Archer AX55 V1 Firmware 1.2.2 Build 20230511 dropping internet daily" is miss leading.
The AX55 is completely freezing up with all of the 1.2.2 builds, that is why the LED's remain green and you can't connect via Ethernet cable and there is no log of the failure.
If the "Tech support team" are looking for an "Internet dropping" problem they are looking in the wrong place.
Just my two cents, also the Ver 1.2.0 is working for my also.
Thanks, niabil

@niabil correct. This is exactly the way I should've stated it in the beginning. You're 100% correct.

I've been running 1.2.0 for several days now -- and for the first time since downgrading, it just lost the Internet connection. The same behavior I saw with the 1.2.2 beta versions. I had to reboot the router to get the Internet to reconnect.

That is oddly discouraging,
I am still waiting for a tech guy to reach out to me directly about my sitation where I cant downgrade. I don't know what to do. I have set my router to booting daily but thats annoying because I have cameras and I dont like my cameras going out while the router is resetting. Then four days later goes by is the track record and the wifi light comes off and the router freezes. I get internet connectivity wired but the wifi will freak out and then I lose connectivity to all my wireless devices and the only way to fix it is by turning it off and turning it back on at the router itsself. If they dont figure out a solution soon I will probably try a different router company. I am over this.

Hello @ASainz40 @rdesign @Davemanfl
I'm glad to inform you all that the new official firmware is on the way and you should be able to detect it on your router web GUI or the Tether App in one day or two.
I have also updated my previous post here to provide the download link for that official version, you could install it manually now.

For me 1.2.0 was just as unstable as all of the subsequent 1.2.2.x beta versions; with 1.2.0 today alone I had five or six disconnections from the Internet.
I just installed the new AX55_V1_1.2.3 Build 230603 (official release); Fingers crossed that it fixes the problem.

The real question is - Will the Ver. 1.2.0 downgrade .bin still work with the Ver. 1.2.3 upgrade????

Well - after installing 1.2.3 it only lasted for about 3 hours before it disconnected from the Internet. No different from 1.2.0 and the beta versions.
I'm really disappointed that 1.2.3 didn't fix this.
