  @jclocker Well I found someone who fixed the Marvell 10G connection problem, he went in to device manager, network adapter and then to the 10g adapter and turned off flow control on the card, so far everything looks to be working ok

Thanks, Jim

  @jclocker,

Thanks for the information!

We are seeing a few solutions that revolve around changing the settings of your network adapter, and we are currently working to put together a list of all the network adapter options that could potentially influence your multi-gig connectivity.

In a previous thread, one user mentioned that to use a multi-gig connection between their Deco and PC they had to enable jumbo frames in the same menu option. These settings seem to default to different settings depending on the manufacturer, so there may be additional options that could impact your connection.

  @Riley_S Good morning,

I would like to know which optical module SFP+ is compatible with the ARCHER BE800.

For example, is it XGS-PON or GPON?

Because I can't find any information about optical module on the Internet or on your website.

Sincerely,

  @Riley_S Let you know the new firmware version really stablized the 10gb ethernet port on the router. The downloads of large files has been working without a problem for the last 2 months. Thanks for the great fixes to the product, keep them coming!

Firmware Version:

1.0.12 Build 20231117 rel.33787(5553)

  @jclocker try this:

asus xg-c100c disconnect from router

https://www.reddit.com/r/homelab/comments/sou3vj/asus_xgc100c_10gbe_nic_media_disconnects/

I read about other Marvell/Aquantia chips having an issue with Recv Segment Coalescing (IPv4) and (IPv6).
Those are enabled in your device manager by default.
I disabled both of them and this card seems to work fine now. No freezing, no dropped connections so far.

Quite the issue out of the box... internet worked GREAT but I couldn't connect to Twitch.
Didn't know why. A link to find the Twitch ingests would not show ANYTHING, while my old NIC would work just fine.
Why? "Recv Segment Coalescence" was on in the NIC's settings. Once this is disabled (both IPv4 and IPv6) it will work fine.

NIC is working fine for me now, but this setting should not be enabled by default and
they should have documentation on their website to troubleshoot this as it was about a second away from getting returned if it weren't for an Amazon Japan review I caught.

  @r1s1x_2,

From looking around the other forums, it looks like Disabling Recv Segment Coalescing in your network adapter settings seems to be the fix for the behavior. A few of the threads even mentioned that the step was recommended by both Asus and Microsoft's support teams. From the looks of it, it may be a beahvior resulting from Windows/ the Adapter settings, rather than its interaction with your network.

Try following the steps mentioned in the the post above and seeing if the behavior resolves itself.
