Model: Archer AXE75
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.6 Build 20221208 rel.72102(5553)

Hello Folks,

Host Computer:  Win 10 Maingear desktop.

Wired LAN

My router will only allow our Pixel 6 phones to access wifi internet via the TP-Link_3xxx_6G band, which tends to be weaker than the 2.4 and 5G and drops out often. I'm new to this router but it seems as though upon first setup the Pixel 6's were allowed to access either TP-Link network. Now, if I try to access the lower band network I get authentication errors when I'm certain I'm entering the correct credentials. What changed? Is anyone else having these issues?

Thanks for your help.

Update:

I tried going back and using the wifi password printed on the bottom of the router and got the same authentication error.

@58delray

Are you using the same SSID and password for the 6GHz network as well as the 2.4GHz and 5GHz?

How about other devices like phones and laptops, are they connected to the 2.4GHz and 5GHz fine? You may confirm and check if there are spaces or special characters or symbols that the Pixel 6 doesn't like. Try making a simple password to see if the Pixel 6 will connect.
