Update 1.1.10 Build 20230301 re 58583 - issues with HP OfficeJet8600 connectivity
After updating Deco to latest release, the HP Office Jet can no longer connect to the Deco.
- Ethernet: does not obtain correct DHCP address. should be a 192.168.1.xx number and comes up with the default 169.xxx.xxx.xxx
- Wireless: comes up with filtering fail message on HP, typically means router has filtering enabled. However no filtering is enabled on the Deco. I tried ato add a DHCP reservation but cannot (can only add filtering/reservations for existing devices defeats purpose of MAC filtering!). Have tried both guest network (2.4 Ghz only) and main network. Have tried manual setup and WPS setup - nothing works.
The printer worked fine BEFORE the latest update. Now printer cannot be found, no matter how I try to set it up. Unsure why hard wired ethernet will not show correct DHCP address either on the either #1 or #3 ethernet port of the Deco.
Only other difference is that the printer was next to the M5 access point vs next to the Deco router (moved the printer). Printer should have reconnected to network once it was moved to new location next to the Deco XE5300.
