6Ghz wifi not showing up on 6e capable devices
Hi to all,
Before deciding on a mesh system, specifically for 6Ghz wifi band, I verified and confirmed my Samsung Galaxy S20 FE5G, Samsung Galaxy S23, and the other two Lenovo laptops can see our SSID for 6Ghz. Apart from these, friends and family that have visited us with 6/6e capable devices does not show-up either. I am no longer focused on 6e since we can't even see 6!
2.4Ghz and 5Ghz work fine but it's throwing money out the door if I can't connect to 6Ghz. Before anyone even tells me, "Are you sure your devices are 6Ghz/6e capable wifi cards/chipset and that the drivers are up-to-date"? Yes, they are. We have several operating systems for the devices that we use at home. A Windows 11 Lenovo laptop from work, two other Lenovo laptops with Zorin OS(both laptops have the latest drivers for 6Ghz as well as the kernel version- 6.2.2), two Samsung Galaxy phones (Samsung Galaxy S20 FE5G, Samsung Galaxy S23).
Friends of mine with capable wifi 6 cellphones, Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, Samsung Galaxy Fold 5G, iPhone 14 PRO, and iPhone 14. I have a bunch of IoT clients that obviously connect to 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz and I for this reason, I am not going to accept the following answer, "reset/restore factory settings and see if this works to show 6Ghz". Nope! It's a tedious task to start from scratch, name the SSID's, restore/reconnect the lights, the tv's, the smart door, smart video doorbell, smart vaccum cleaners, smart air purifiers and several cameras around the house.
Any help is appreciated!

Yup it is right now, I also edited the earlier post.
>I do appreciate you trying to check in and help though, I just informed my friend about their device, and they seem embarrassed lol.
Managed to get them to realize they were wrong/bullheaded lol

Mine still doesn't work in Mexico. Not sure why. At least 5Ghz works without any problems

@olegafx Has there been any firmware updates in the Mexico region to allow 6 GHz operation?

@RobSal2023 This is the same problem im having with the BE9300 i have 2 and using it as a mesh system. My phone picks up WIFI 7 and my wifi 6E devices such as Galaxy Tab S8 ULTRA only picks up WIFI 6. i had the eero 6E PRO 3 pack and that picked up 6E no problem. So im wondering if this is a WIFI 7 router/mesh problem of not showing WIFI 6E.

@MANLEY85 Geez why did you use the red background font. Its so hard to read and doesn't help your case. Are you saying that your galaxy tab s8 ultra cannot connect to the 6 GHz network? If not, then please submit a ticket to TP Link so that they can fix it in a future firmware release.
Also the BE9300 router is not under the Deco mesh product family so it might be better to post this issue under the "Wifi Routers" community for the Archer routers to get a response.

Ha, I just created another thread on the same topic - my Mac Mini 2 and Galaxy Fold do not see any 6GHZ network. Both are Australian versions as is the Deco (XE75).
And yes, I have "backhaul and wifi" enabled.
Seems like this just does not work on Deco routers.

I found our you have to disconnect your 6Ghz enabled devices by hitting forget Network then the 6Ghz will show up and connect to only that@troelshartmann

@RobSal2023 Hi, would like to share my experience to discuss this 6 ghz issue to greater extent. I started a thread under: Iphone 15 pro lost 6 ghz connection after one day (dormant now). I also emailed TP-Link to report my problem and was informed that they would escalate the problem to their engineers and get back to me - still waiting for a reply.
Essentially, I am experiencing the same problem with the people here, only that on some good day the 6 ghz broadcast would appear and I could connect to it. But the broadcast would disappear after some time (usually after an hour). I am using TP-Link BE 20000 - mesh set. I had tried all the recommended wifi settings I could find. Some of the settings managed to surface the 6 ghz broadcast, but as I have said, it would disappear after a while. I also tried all sort of settings to my iphone 15 pro (6e capable) recommended by Apple and some experts online - couldn't work either.
Hope to stay connected here for any tips and advice.

I have a new TP-Link AXE7800 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Router (Mesh network disabled in router mode). Updated firmware from the internal software.
I paired it with a new TP-Link WiFi 6E AXE5400 PCIe WiFi Card for PC (Archer TXE75E). Installed it on an updated Win 11 Pro PC. Installed the latest drivers from the website Oct 2023.
These are two TP-Link late model WiFi 6E 6GHz devices and apparently they can not talk to each other on the 6GHz band.
WiFi works fine on both 2.4 and 5GHz. The client seems to detect a hidden network but connected manually to that network using the 6GHz SSID/pw does not work.
Bluetooth is working as well so I don't think there's anything wrong with this brand new card.
I checked the windows settings for the hardware and 6GHz is fully enabled (default settings).
This appears to be a problem with TP-Link hardware. Possibly only the router but I have no way to test that since it's the only 6GHz router I have here. I have other 6GHz hardware that can't see the 6GHz WiFi either so that follows.
Perhaps TP-Link will fix this. Clearly a lot of people have this issue. Perhaps is un-fixable and we just bought a device advertised as 6GHz capable which is not.

@olegafx u/m8dness in REDDIT has solved the issue in ( https://reddit.com/r/iphone/s/b1He51uzeJ ) Settings -> Privacy & security -> location services -> scroll to bottom system services -> toggle networking and wireless off
