Trouble Connecting after Modem restart

My Wireless system is setup as followed
Modem (Spectrum) connected (wired port 1) to my Deco X60, Ethernet out (port 2) to unmanaged Netgear switch GS316, that connect throughout my house. Everything works fine except when the modem restarts (power, provider), the Deco can no longer connect to the Network (Red light). I have to unplug the connection to the switch, then the Deco reconnects. Once reconnected I can plug back the Switch to get the whoel house connected again.
Could someone let me know if I need to change the setup so teh Deco reconnects automatically.
