I think I already know the answer but if I plug the main Deco into one of the nodes using ethernet, and then plug a PC in to that node, will the PC receive the full speed internet like a normal wired network?

Do you mean the network topology like:

ISP modem----<cable>--main Deco---<cable>---satellite Deco--<cable>PC

if yes, it is like a normal wired connection directly from the main Deco and the PC is able to receive a full speed.
