Unable to download new firmware 1.3.1
When trying to update from the router, I receive this message "Unable to connect to the cloud server. Please try again later." I checked the download page and this version is not posted yet.
Is this just a matter of staging/timing that I am seeing this and unable to upgrade?
1.3.1 Build 20220721 rel.61848 - Release notes:
New Features/Enhancement:
1. Added VPN client;
2. Added switch for the Qos feature; <-- YES!
3. Added IPTV settings in the Tether APP;
4. Optimized Online Client List feature;
5. Optimized the link aggregation feature;
6. Optimized the wireless schedule feature;
7. Modified the Hostname to "ArcherAX11000";
8. Improved the stability of the system.
Bug fixed:
1. Fixed some security issues;
2. Fixed the bug that "other" device icon in the Tether APP can't be selected;
3. Fixed the bug that system log sometimes is empty under AP mode;

I'm having the same issue. And this new firmware doesn't show up on the support site so there's no way to manually update either.
TP-LINK, please fix it ASAP!!!

@NotAnotherZeke searching for text about the expected upgrade can find this a post regarding some reported issues. One recommendation is to try a beta release and report issues to an email address. @Kos1mo is correct, there might be some internet interrupt issue in some special network environment as reported on the thread pointed by Kos1mo, so the 1.3.1 Build 20220721 may not be available to be updated, and that's why you got some error when trying to upgrading that version.
It's suggested to keep the current 1.3.0 version and wait for the next official version.

@Kevin_Z , Thank you for the reply. Does this firmware contain the other changes in 1.3.1 along with a fix for the issue it was pulled over or is it focused on the VPN client and those 1.3.1 changes/enhancements will return later?
