Hardwire
Hi I have a fairly large 5 bed house but there is lots of interference, so I can have a deco not far away from another deco and I still get bad connection. I have hardwired most of teh house and feel it would be better to have the decos run off of hardwire, can I change these to hard wire versions and if so do they all have to be hardwired or can I have a mix of hardwire and wifi?

Actually, This is one of the great things about our Deco System! All of our systems are meant to easily connect to one another using a variety of connection methods. Some Users have even had success using powerline extenders to build their network further. This means that you can easily upgrade your backhaul network as you see a need for it.
As you have figured out, an Ethernet Backhaul will provide the best experience for a user. Personally, I have seen a difference in how long it takes for a digital movie to start playing when selected. If you have most of your house hardwired already, the transition process is actually very simple.
The key thing to remember when using a Deco Mesh System, is that each of the mesh nodes operates as a separate client. This means that as long as the main unit is first in line, all of the other devices will be able to detect and connect to the unit so as to extend the network. The easiest way of doing this is to place an ethernet switch on the LAN port of the main Deco Unit and then connect your mesh nodes directly to that switch with ethernet cables.
This will also allow each of your mesh nodes to have a better connection to the network, and you can rewire your hard-wired devices to connect to your network through the ethernet port on the Deco, or through another switch

@Riley_S Thanks so much for yor quick reply and infomration.
Do I need to reset the Deco network, or literally just plug an ethernet cable in to the deco device, just wondered if it would know to use the ethernet or would need to be told to not connect via wifi?
Thanks
Martin

The System Should be Able to Detect that you are trying to establish an ethernet backhaul and change automatically. You can always check what backhaul method the device is using the Deco App. Any other questions that you have should be able to found in the FAQ found here: General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco
