How to set TL-WR902AC in hotspot mode same as on android phone?
I want to use the TL-WR902AC as hotspot.
The same use as the hotspot mode on my android phone.
Connect to local Wi-Fi (wpa2) and set up a hotspot where my chromecast, mobile phone, (chrome)notebooks ect can connect to.
I have tried everything but nothing works.
Did I buy the wrong product?
Thank in advance for any help.

Don't know what you tried, you didn't mention that?
Did you look in the Manual? I looked and on this link, https://www.tp-link.com/us/user-guides/tl-wr902ac_v3/chapter-2-connect-the-hardware#ug-sub-title-2
it appears to me, on section 2.3, Range Extender Mode it will do what you want?
Was that what you tried? If so, what errors or problems did you encounter?

I am confused by your response to me?
You initially said " I have tried everything but nothing works. " but is the reply now what you tried? That matches what should be done in the manual. So if it is, what wasn't working? What did you 'get', any error codes?
Please explain the results you did get? "Nothing works" does give any details or explain much?

Hi,
Thanks for your quick response.
This is the configuration I want (by the way this configuration is not mentioned in the manual, only WISP).
I have tried the wisp configuration but I was not been able to set the TL-WR902AC as wireless router.
Maybe this is the wisp setting not the way to do this.
I need a separate network with his own SSID, WPA2 security and login (my own bubble) within a normal wifi network environment. And the TL-WR902AC must connect through wifi with the existing router at home, school or at work.
The TL-WR902AC has 3 settings: share eth, share hotspot and AP/Rng Ext/ client
Which of the this settings is the correct one?

Again, I am confused?
You posted a Configuration and said it was NOT in the manual?
I see this in the link I provided at section 2.3:
It looks EXACTLY like you posted you want?
Have you done this and something not working or allowing you to do what you wish?
Edit, is the problem that you can't get a UNIQUE set of IP Addresses or something else?
