Downgrade AX1800 Firmware
Shortly after upgrading the firmware from V1.2_210901 to V 1.2_211231, I have been experiencing issues with my connection. I have tried downgrading the firmware to either V1.2_210901 and V1.2_210521 however, both versions fail. I get an "upload error".
I have tried this both over ethernet and wifi with the same results.
1. Can the AX1800 firmware be downgraded?
2. If so, what is the process?

Hello @anim8s, As per the release note on the firmware page, you are not forbidden to downgrade the firmware to the previous version, you can check also. But we will confirm:
https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/archer-ax1800/v1.20/#Firmware
Before that, can I know what is the issue when you install the latest official version on the AX1800 now? Can we have more details then we can see if we can fix it?

I have tried multiple times to downgrade the firmware with no luck.
The most noticeable issue is that my son's Xbox will no longer stay connected for more than a minute or so when playing online games.
This issue started after upgrading the firmware to Version: 1.3.5 Build 20211231 rel.63562(5553).

Is the Xbox connected to the 2.4G network or 5G? Except for the firmware upgrade, are there any other changes?
How about other devices, are they still connecting to the network fine?
You can try to modify the wireless settings on the router, such as channel, channel width, security. Try choosing WPA2-PSK, AES security, and you can try 802.11 b/g/n mixed.

I have had the same issue since the last firmware update. Never had any problems with my connection until the router was updated to 1.3.5 Build 20211231 (v. 1.2 hardware). Android phones and Chromebook laptops would lose internet access intermittently, but while still connected to the Wifi network. Would have to toggle Wifi connection on the devices to gain internet access again.
I have now disabled Smart Connect (OFDMA and TWT already were disabled) and hope that will finally fix it.
Update: that did NOT fix it. I have now downgraded to the previous firmware 1.3.2 Build 20210901.
