Hi, since the firmware has been released for a while, I haven’t seen such feedback and I don’t think this issue is related to the 1.5.6 firmware.
Do you still remember what is your previous firmware, 1.5.5 or 1.5.1?
If the computer supported an Ethernet connection, would you please connect it directly to the cable modem to see whether the issue still existed?
Did all your clients have the same issue about the OpenVPN service?
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Thanks for the replay. I think I was on 1.51 previously. The connection issue started happening right after the firmware update, and no one else from my company is having issue with the vpn.

@TP-Link Forgot to mention that I connected to the modem directly and the same vpn was functioning without problem.

Hi, thank you very much for getting back to me.
The firmware 1.5.6 could be downgraded back to 1.5.1 directly.
But since I checked with the engineers since they confirmed the new firmware should not be caused such an issue, could you please help me run the following test:
1. only downgrade the main Deco M9 back to 1.5.1 first via web UI:

How to Update the Firmware of Deco
2. then power off the rest of 3 satellite units and check whether you are able to connect the OpenVPN server.
By the way, may I know what kind of OpenVPN server you have used for the company network?
Would there be any error message when you failed to connect the OpenVPN server?

@TP-Link Thanks for the reply. The downgrade indeed fix the vpn connection issue. We're running openVPN with custom profile. From the client side there were no obvious errors. The connection established then internet connection dropped in a min or two. I'll ask my admin to see if the the server side log can be shared.
