how do i add more than 2 dns servers to the router?  Is there something I'm missing, or has TP-Link restricted this, if so why?

Thanks for reaching out to us. 
Generally router only supports to set primary DNS and secondary DNS and setting two DNS servers can normally meet the needs of users.

May I know why you need to add more than two DNS server to the router? Would you please provide more details about your requirement?
