@djmess I went ahead and downloaded the beta firmware, I just haven't installed it onto the router. Since the factory reset seemed to do the trick I will just leave it at that for now, but I have the firmware on standby if needed. Hopefully none of is will have any issues anymore. It does seem somewhat surprising to me that when I talked to support they seemed they didn't understand what was going on then all the sudden there's a new firmware update because people are having issues. I would have felt better if somebody had gone "we know this is an issue, were working on it" rather than "dont really know, we'll escalate the ticket and contact you next week".

@RouterRob Thanks! I'm going to hold off on the beta firmware until I know whether or not the factory reset worked. Thank you for your response.

@djmess the beta software so far is working well for me too.  Going on 24 hours without an issue whereas before it was 2-3 times daily.

Factory reset is holding past the one hour mark, so far. If I have any more issues, I'll try the beta firmware update. So far, so good!

What firmware version did a factory reset put on your router? Prior to the one that has the potential issue I assume.

@mi5key Current firmware is 1.3.2 Build 20210901 rel.68864(5553). Looks to be same firmware as my original posting, so I'm curious to know what it fixed, or if that means the issues are likely to return.

Yeah, that's odd that it's the same and that a new version potentially fixes it. I'm running the beta and it works great so far. Maybe it's something that occurs over time or when you do certain configuration.

After the factory reset, the firmware version I'm running is 1.1.5 Build 20210903 rel.39200(5553), which is up to date for my AX6600.

@mi5key I went ahead and downloaded the beta so I can put it on the router if needed. Maybe there will be an official firmware update pushed out before it happens again. I will say that my kids haven't been here this weekend, so I don't have as many devices connected as usual. So I will have to do all the device reassigning and everything once they get back. I will keep updated on if the reset is a permanent fix, it's got me thinking it's temporary with the firmware and everything being the same version. So we will see what happens.

@RouterRob

Hello, can I confirm what is the model of your Archer router? Is it also AX21? If the internet is stable after the reset, you can leave it without the beta firmware and wait for the official firmware.
