Connecting a 2nd extender
How do I add a 2nd extender to my wireless network?

Disconnect the 1st one so that it doesn't interfer. Configure the 2nd one to the router. Once its configured you can reconnect the 1st one. not place the 2nd extender opposite of the the 1st. Because they are linked to the router they cannot be be daisy chained.
Alternatively, if the router you have is a TP-Link router and it and the Range Extenders both support OneMesh you can use that feature to configure the two extenders to be mesh extensions of the router. In this instance the two extenders could be daisy chained.
