We have noticed that when we get a power bump, that causes the lights or whatever to blink, the router resets. It is connected to a good UPS, on the battery backup side, and the UPS is working. Could this be something the router has a problem with, or is my UPS got a problem I can't see.

I would suspect the UPS as its job is to supply good steady power. Your battery may be going bad.

test it by unplugging the UPS.

it could also be caused by something attached to the router that is not on the UPS such as a USB drive causing s load spike.
