Model: Archer C1900
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: latest as of Aug 2021

I just ste this router up and have done nothing with regard to security settings, etc.  All is default except the subnet.  I moved the router to 10.0.0.1 because that's what my old router used and I have a few machines with fixed IPs.  Also set DHCP DNS to Google (8.8.8.8).  And upgraded to latest firmware.  Otherwise I am out of the box.

That said, some websites are being blocked.  But only WiFi.  I can get to them fine on any machine using physica ethernet.  First symptom is dsn does not resolve.  If I set an entry in my host file, I get a page with a stop sign on it, saying the site is blocked.

An example of such a site is wattpad.com.

Any idea what is up?

@parent2048

Hi, just to verify, is the router model Archer C80 or Archer A9? You can find this on the router bottom sticker, where will display a model number.

How about the DNS server setting on the router WAN? Is it also 8.8.8.8? You can try to change that to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 if it is not, then reboot the router and disconnect/connect to the wireless again.

BTW, can you ping these websites on the router web (System Tools > Diagnostic page)?
