Model: TL-UE300
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

The wifi adapter on my work laptop failed and the TL-UE300 worked flawlessly for a couple of weeks. It actually still does. But the light no longer flashes. Can anyone tell me if this is a precursor to it failing? I work overnights, from home, and can't afford for a late night failure. Thinking of getting a backup. Is the TL-UE305 better?

@MMermaid-NYC Hello,

Sorry for the delay, the led not on normally means something wrong with the driver.

You could uninstall the current driver (refer to Case3 in below FAQ to uninstall driver from Device manager),  reboot computer and let windows reinstall the driver.

Unplug and plug back in UB300 if necessary

Also download Auto Installation Program from link of UE300 driver first in case Windows could not find a proper driver by itself.

UE305 is almost the same as UE300 on spec, both USB 3.0 and 10/100/1000 Gigabit port, only difference is that UE305 supports Nintendo Switch
