Was given this range extender from a friend who had used it in the past. While connecting to it, it asked to sign in. I used my credentials I had just created when I downloaded the app but says username/ password is wrong. How do I go about solving this?
Factory reset it to clear anything potentially left behind by holding the reset for 15 seconds while it is plugged in. When you go through the setup again, you shouldn't have any issues. I think the username and password needed to log into the extender is what was left behind not the Tether credentials.
