How do I find thinks in community postings? Archer A9 media server doesn't serve.

Model: Archer A9

Hardware Version: V6

Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20200416 rel.72485(5553)

Using Windows 10 Media Player, VLC, BubbleUPNP and numerous other DLNA clients, they all say something like Media Player's "no files have been found on this remote library"

Can anyone tell me where to find an answer in this community? Search searches for each word in my search string, even if I quote the string. Seems pretty useless to me.

Well, you need a USB drive with a folder on it holding content. Did you do that?

It CAN NOT be UID and P/W protected. Almost ALL DLNA clients I use can not handle that.

I've got an Archer A20 and it does NOT require any access restrictions. Seems the A9 does? Not sure, but the F/W Emulator seems to indicate that?

Might want to check the User Manual as well, https://www.tp-link.com/us/user-guides/archer-a9_v6/usb-settings-us-4.0

Problem could also be the FORMAT of the USB drive. If you use a USB hard drive, make sure its file system is FAT32 or NTFS.
