Model: Archer A20
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

I installed and setup my new Archer A20.  I have Smart Connect OFF.  I have different SSID and passwords set for each of the 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz-1, and 5Ghz-2 networks.

The 2.4 Ghz and 5Ghz-2 networks are available and operate as expected; however, the 5Ghz-1 network SSID does not appear to any device, and even adding it manually to a device I can not connect to it.

Any advice on troubleshooting or fixing?

Thanks,

@RingofStone

I'll assume you have checked all the settings.

For instance:

Those with the RED Boxes are the ones to verify.

Make sure the Radio is ENABLED and you are NOT hiding the SSID. The MODE, make sure they match your device. Channel, make sure your device can handle it, not all can handle 80Mhz for instance. Same goes for the Channel number.

Power shouldn't be an issue unless it is set to LOW and the devices are far away.

Needless to say, you should verify the SSID too. Some devices will also possibly not be able to handle P/W's that have special characters, blanks in P/W or are too long. Same for the SSID in some cases.

You might also want to try a 'Network Analyzer' like Acrylic Free on a Windows or MAC PC and see if it is being transmitted on another PC in case the problem is the specific device (I assume you've already tried other devices and they failed too though).
