Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 3.0.6 Build 20200401 rel.71690 (US)

Hello,

I am using Archer C1200 v3.0 Router with 3.0.6 Build 20200401 rel.71690 (US) (which came factory) from last couple of years and no issues.

Recently, when I login to router it shows an update available (3.0.7 Build 20200831 rel.59087)

Should I update?

Do I get any benefit out of it?

I am afraid, if it will break something.

I take the "If it ain't broke..." approach so in looking at the latest firmware release it mentions it improves wireless stability. If you are happy with your router then I would leave it alone. Should you get issues of connectivity, then I would then look at updating the firmware to see if that helps, then involve supported if the problem continues.
