Satellite unit failing?
Purchased two units in Feb 2019 - one used as base, and one satellite. Everything worked great until a few months ago. Now the satellite unit goes to solid red randomly. Unplugging does not work to go to green. I have to bring the satellite to the base and plug it in. It goes green and then I can take it back to the satellite location. What is the fix?

Swap the satellite unit with the main unit to see if the issue stays at the area you have it or with the device itself.
If the issue ends up being the area, you may need to move it closer to the main Deco.

The problem may not be the location, but in dealing with the current issue it is best to exclude any possible variable.

@Tony I tried your suggestion. I couldn't get it to work. It appears to me that the base is programmed to be base, and the satelite programmed to be a satellite. So the satelite wouldn't work as the base. Any other suggestions?

Yes, you can swap the units, you need to designate it in the Deco app.
