Not sure of the version.
Need help to connect the 5GHz . The 2.4 is connected .

Try logging into your router and changing the 5G channel to a specific value. The screenshot below shows where to change the channel if it was a TP-Link router. Once you make the changes in your router, factory reset the extender (hold reset for 15 seconds while plugged in) and set it up again.
