Archer C7 stops Windows 10 detecting wired network Brother printer

Hardware Version: V5

Firmware Version: latest

Easy to set up but cannot for the life of me get Windows 10 to detect my Brother HL2250DN wired network printer.

When I reconnect my old ZTE router the printer reappears.

Your printer may be statically assigned an IP address so it stays the same no matter what router is connected or maybe the same for the computer.

Make sure both the computer and the printer are using DHCP for their network configuration and neither is statically assigned.
