cannot login to TP-link account to set up 5G network or manage passwords
Unable to complete the "Bind for Management" step of the setup process. So I cannot login and do anything at all with managing this Wifi router. I would love to be able to setup and use the 5G (rather than the default network it set up automatically).

Not sure how you are attempting to do this nor what error message you get on what device? I assume it was a phone via wireless?
Have you tried the 'old' way, with a browser using 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 in the URL? Then entering the UserID and Pasword on the label on the bottom of the router. That should allow you to complete the setup.

@IrvSp Hello and thanks for responding. I am using both an app on my I-Phone, or alternately my iMac desktop computer. I just took a picture of what's on the bottom of the wifi, to try what you said; but it is exactly the same as the info on the business card that came with the unit.
It's funny that, while I can use my email address and password combo I created to login to THIS FORUM SITE, it still locks me out when I get to that final "bind for management phase, on either the tplinkwifi.net website, or the TP link app I download on my phone.
I have done the press reset button, and hold for 10 seconds several times, but I keep running into this error.

If this is really an AC50, have you looked at the manual on how to login?

Not sure what your '5G' (which is usually a designation for cell service, not Wifi which is 5Ghz) problem is? That device is limited to 100Mbp by the way.
