Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.4.9 build20200924 rel 60170

Recently the network speed suddenly drop to 5-10 Mbps, but test on deco client it shows 50Mbps, and plug laptop directly to cable before deco, it is 50Mbps as well. When I touch main deco it is really hot, but it is at a good location, there are gap underneath, and nothing covers it.

Is this the new firmware issue? I upgraded it recently.

If you power it off for a bit so it cools, then power it back up does the speed return?

 

If heat seems to be the variable, I would reach out to support, another thing is to swap the main Deco to see if the same issue happens.

Thank you, after downgrading firmware to 200725, problem solved, pretty sure it is the firmware issue

So please do not upgrade your firmware unless you have issues

@Oli77  I downloaded the older version from their website, I don't have the link at the moment, I am sure you can find it on google.
