Yes I am sure we are only US support. That is why our community URL is https://community.tp-link.com/us.  When we are given Firmware and other install files to provide it is assumed that it is exclusivily for the US region.  We do not generally review the file or download it ourselves as we aren't doing onsite testing to make sure the file is correct. We wouldn't be able to anyways as we don't have the equipment.  In Most cases when a customer creates a thread from another region we will transfer it to the correct community and send them a message letting them know why the thread is moved.  We don't have a way to do that for replies so when we learn that a user is in another region or a has a specific product from a region we do not support where we will let them know to seek support for the region or community that is best suited to help them.  Beyond that we can only provide best effort support.  Since there seems to be a concern with a specfic frimware on your product you would recieve the best support by dealing with your region directly. 

Also as to the frimware being buggy.  That can happen especially if the firmware that is given to us is in Beta format still.
