Archer A6 keeps dropping wifi interface routing 0n 2.4G/5G and sometimes 5G connection disappears!
Connected wifi devices lose internet connection several times a day with it being restored in a couple of minutes. Wired connections do not have this issue. It has become very unreliable. I bought it a month ago. Return period has passed. Otherwise, would return it in a heartbeat. I need help to resolve this issue as it drops me out of important business meetings.
Total of 26-30 clients (6 direct attached - the rest are via another Access Point aggregating to this router). A6 issues all f the addresses and does the routing.
Also 5G SSID disappears at times and gets disconnected. The above issue is common between 2.4G and 5G.

The conveniece fee for advanced RMAs is pretty standard in our industry with most of our competiors having similar policies. And its not that we sold you a product that didn't work as promised its that you may have got a defective one. It can happen with any manufactured product. This is why warranties are offered. In truth you can almost always applied the 10% rule, which states 10% of anything manufactured will be defective in some way or another. Your issue could be software related and I'll ask the software team to investigate and see if there is a bug or anything such as a beta firmware that can be applied to your situation. If not then an RMA will be needed and the aformention fee may apply should you decide to chose an advanced option. For the standard option you would still need to cover the cost of shipping the defective unit to us, again standard in the industry, but you control that cost by choosing how you want to send the product back.
I will let you know when I have a response.

@Carl When I try to update with the bin file you sent me, it says "wrong file" type and aborts.

I have the exact same issue with my A6 v2. Except I only have 3 clients connected at once, not 30! So the issue is not the number of clients.
I have it in AP mode as well, so modem > A6 by cable
@Inno5G i managed to install on mine the firmware @Carl provided in the previous post. just make sure tou unzip it before trying to upload it. i'm waiting now to see if this fixes it

That particular model is outside our local scope of support. We being exclusive to US support and all. The solutions and often firmware we provide are more often than not just for the US based customers or customers with US based products. I would suggest one of two things have the Global community made aware of this by creating a similar thread on the Global community community.tp-link.com/en or choose your https://www.tp-link.com/us/choose-your-location/ click on support and then contact techincal support to engage with your region's support team.

@Carl "We being exclusive to US support and all." are you sure? You just shared an EU version firmware few posts back. I'm sure it's EU because i could install it on my router, and the other guy, who has the US version couldn't, besides that, it's in the name as well: ArcherA6v2_eu-up-ver1-3-6-P1. Be it US or EU it's still riddled with bugs.
