Hello,

I recently upgraded to Archer A6 and I am facing a random speed drop issue with it. I have a 150Mbps connection but the speed drops to around 70Mbps (wired and wireless both) randomly after few hours, the issue is fixed after I reboot the router.

I have checked internet speed by connecting a lan cable to the media converter directly, every time the speed is 150Mbps+.

Any help in the matter would be appreciated.

P.S: I have also set the IP lease time to 1200mins.

Sounds like it may be somewhere from the WAN to the internet.

Have you already tried swapping out the Ethernet cable even though the speeds will check out when directly connected?

If bypassing the router, have you left the computer connected for as long?
