Trouble shooting attaching link repeater to device

Linked threw email

States it's attached 

Will not allow password to connect the device

Look at the LED lights, if the main router is dual band (2.4G and 5G) both the small LED lights should be on, and the circle LED blue. If only the 2.4G light is on, then connecting to the 5G name will not work.

 

If all the LED lights are normal, check the main router if there may be some security feature blocking the extender.
