TP-Link Archer C9 randomly rebooting :(
Morning all :)
Pretty much the same as this other thread, my Archer C9 keeps randomly rebooting ... there appears to be no rhyme or reason as to why it does :(
Have moved the Ethernet lead into another port on my Modem, and also replaced the Ethernet lead with another one. Still keeps happening .. so infuritaing. It's been fine for months, rock steady - no issues at all. No new devices connected, latest firmware installed. I've even factory reset it.
Screenshots of the Log below;
Happy to post a list of devices connected if needed - these are all iphones, MacBooks, iPads, and various Smart devices ...
There's clearly a problem, as I'm not the only one to suffer with this, so come on TP-Link support .... let's work on a solution

Still getting reset nearly everyday I am so regretful of buying this device. It has been 2 years this should have been resolved already.
Where is the new firmware that has been talked here?
Sorry I am very pissed now that this is preventing my work flow and gaming. I think I will buy a new one if no resolve is present soon.

I would reach out to TP Link customer service. When I contacted them, they provided me with a new firmware. However, just as I was about to install it, the problem resolved itself. I have suspicions that it was a device on my network causing the reboots and perhaps an OS update on the offending device fixed the problem. There was a theory that it was a version of iOS causing this. Not 100% certain however.

I don't have an ios device at home. Nat boost is disabled... etc. Resets are so random it is getting ridiculous. I was thinking of buying a different power adaptor thinking maybe it is the problem. Which adds to cost of purchasing this incapable piece of hardware. I won't buy a product from TP link ever again. Look at the forum same problems but no resolve from them.
I will ask directly as you suggested if I can find a way to reach them..

I have received the 1.2.5 beta firmware from support after filling a support form on tplink website.
I will test and report if this beta fixes. Hopefully this works.

With beta firmware I haven't noticed a reset yet. It seems like it fixed reset issue that I have been experiencing. I will continue monitoring.
