Can connect to my old router (NetGear) with my new Brother MFC J885 printer but not to my Archer C3150.
Printer does not recognize the router network when searching. Tried putting it in manually but no good.
By the way I do not know what version Hardware I have.
Don't know what the 'specs' for your network is, nor the wireless settings?
Suspect this is probably due to using a CHANNEL (Frequency) on the router that your printer may not support? I assume since the Printer is 2.4Ghz only you are transmitting that radio signal? If you are transmitting the SSID, I'd look at the Security? Try 'none' and see if it can see it (although security should only come into play when you try to connect).
