My AX1800 new router will not connect to the internet. Internet is working.

I have the same issue. Brand new router AX1800.  Modem works, and internet through ethernet is fine.  Spoke with tech support and they suggested a 20 minute network scrub for a license fee!    @RouterD

How did you contact Support? Did you use https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/contact-technical-support/?

 

I don't think you did as the PHONES ARE DOWN now.

I suspect, you, like many others, found 3rd Party webpages with phone numbers to call. Some are probably legitimate places that can help you, others are scam outfits.

 

I suggest you use the above line and CHAT as they do NOT charge.

@IrvSp.  You're right.  I was attempting to configure my router and wound up at  3rd party site instead.  Initiated a chat and then someone called me.
