Hello everyone,

I am trying to block a few IP addresses or domains on my network and through my Archer C1200 V3.

Is there an IP Blocking feature available on this router and if so, can someone help me finding it.

Thank you all,

Sam

@Samantha15

If you go to Advanced > Security > Access Control, you can blacklist the MAC address of the device or create a whitelist.

@Tony

Thank you so much Tony for your reply.  I think I posted my question a bit incorrectly.

I am trying to block an IP address for all devices on my network.  As an example, I want to block the doubleclick.com (or another example, block IP Address 1.2.3.4) to block their ads.

Does the AC1200 have this feature?

Thank you again,

Sam

@Samantha15

Thank you for the clarification.

Unfortunately, no it does not have that ability. The external blocking it can do would be for hosts that were apart of a DoS attack (Advanced > Security > Settings).

How you tried the approach of stopping it using NETWORK>> Static Routing?
