First step is to bypass the router and connect a PC to the modem via an Ethernet cable to ensure you have a good connection from your ISP. Be sure you use good cables as we have seen one poster have a bad cable that came with their router, so do not assume if it is new it is good. If the routerless test is good, connect the PC to the router and the router to the modem. Power cycle the modem, router and the PC and retest. Do check the connectors on the router and see if the pins inside of the connectors appear to be stright and okay. If it fails, let us know what lights you are getting.
