High Latency on Archer AX50

Ever since I bought this router i've been getting high latency. I noticed how my old N router was giving me better ping in games. Does anyone know how to solve this? I mean i have tried changing channels and channel width. nothing seems to bring it down.

@DanielGB I am using the 1.0.8. What will the update change? Pros/cons of downgrading. On Modern Warfare it searches for games above 55ms ping.

@DanielGB Yes I understand that overheating problem too. But thanks for the advice, I will downgrade and see.

@Umar11b Am also having this issue, but with wired devices as well. Ping is steady at 40-60ms even standing right next to it but spikes to 200-600ms every 2-5 seconds. Have fiddles with multiple settings and got nothing. Mad emy own post early today and havent turned up anything. Having a tech from my isp scheduled to come have a look and see if its the network, but i dont think it is.
