Thank you for the batch file and all the information that you have provided. I was able to extract my .pib file (turning off the firewall is a must) then use the Quallcom 7500 .nvm file to update my device. It still disconnects the Internet when that bloody power saving kicks in, but the connection speed has improved by about 100Mbps...from 300-400Mbps. If I keep the PLC utility open the Internet connection doesn't drop, but that's not an ideal solution - I'm amazed that there is no provision for disabling it.
I'm also yet to figure out why Ethernet transfer speeds are stuck at 100 Base, when the router shows that the link speed is gigabit... Got some Cat 7 cables coming so will see what happens.
My unit is the TL-PA8033PKIT - AU version.
Thanks again :)

Can anyone help me update my plc update? I updated the PA8010P successfully to the latest firmware. The TL-WPA8630P however, the latest tool only accepts bin files. I don't know what older version people here are referring to, the older versions I tried use flash and show a flash icon in the interface and that's it. The other tool that was suggested doesn't work (zyxel one), saying the files are not supported for this model.
If anyone can give me a clue

@BobTPPLC See post #101. tpPLC Utility: basically reset both adapters to their defaults (network name, passwords etc.). This is critical as both adapters (8010 and 8630) must be on the same default network.
Then reset the "bin" only adapter (8610). It will disapear and reapear in the tpPLC Utility. Then update the device with the .pib and .nvm files. If the update fails, try it again or use the "stripped" fw version.

Thank you for the help, it finally worked, but with one big side note:
After resetting the WPA8630P, you only have a small window of time where you can upload the .pib and the .nvm. After about 30 seconds the AP part comes online and you can only once again upload the bin file. So for other users facing this, reset your WPA8630P, watch for it to come online in the TPPLC application. If it asks you for a password (admin/admin) you are too late and the AP part of the unit is active allowing you not to update the firmware as mentioned every where. I had to reset the unit various times while updating from 2.2.3 to 2.10
PS: Id hoped an increase of PLC speed, but its hard to say if it improved at all, sadly.

Yesterday I have updated my PA8010Pv2 and WPA8630Pv2 (EU version) both to the 2.10 firmware with QCA7500-2.10.0032_modules_5-6_stripped.nvm file.
plctool.exe -i 1 -e -P TL-WPA8630Pv2.PIB -N QCA7500-2.10.0032_modules_5-6_stripped.nvm xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx - my WPA8630Pv2 MAC address
Everything works excellent, but when I would like to flash the full firmware version QCA7500-2.10.0032.nvm, with the command
plctool.exe -i 1 -e -P TL-WPA8630Pv2.PIB -N QCA7500-2.10.0032.nvm xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
every time I have this message
nic1 xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx Invalid Data Length (0x17): Device refused request
Is this normally and is not possible to flash with QCA7500-2.10.0032.nvm firmware to the WPA8630Pv2 or I have done any mistakes ? The size of the striped and full firmware is very different.
930,508 QCA7500-2.10.0032.nvm
575,056 QCA7500-2.10.0032_modules_5-6_stripped.nvm
Than you for your help.

@Shigella The WPA8630Pv2, just as the 8010 or 8030, just does not have enough free flash memory (2MB, minus running flash minus overhead) in the PLC part to flash the full firmware.
plctool -f
br-plc xxxxx TYPE=0x14 (M25P16_ES) PAGE=0x0100 (256) BLOCK=0x10000 (65536) SIZE=0x200000 (2097152)
whereas eg the WPA8630Pv1 does have 4MB and can have the full firmware
br-lan xxxxx TYPE=0x1640 (Unknown NVRAM Type) PAGE=0x0100 (256) BLOCK=0x10000 (65536) SIZE=0x400000 (4194304)
Module 5 is OAS Client IP Stack
module 6 is OAS Client TR069
ie you would need both to have remote TR069 configuration features enables on your PLC. Somehow. Don't ask for details, I don't know them.

A big thank you for the topic and to the person who shared his dropbox package (tools, pib, nvm, ...)!
