Archer C6 v2.0 Advanced Wireless Settings
Hello all!
I just bought an Archer C6 and set it up. But I have an issue on Advanced -> Wireless -> Wireless Settings. When I click "Wireless Settings", the page just loads forever. Any recommendations?
Also, does Archer C6 v2.0 support Smart Connect?
Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Best,
F

Try a different web browser, and also make sure to reboot the router to see if the menu shows.
I believe the C6 does not have smart connect, here is a article we have about smart connection, but references it applies to other routers:

@Tony Hi! Another browser worked, but can you help me on how can I setup smart connect for Archer C6 v2.0?
Thanks!

@Tony As I know, smart connect is a feature that allows the router to automatically assign connected devices to the Wi-Fi band that provides the fastest speed. I am currently confused about when to use 5GHz or 2.4GHz. Instead of this manual switching and confusion, I just wanted to set it up. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

If you enable smart connect, then obviously you would not need to worry about which to connect to as the router will take care of it for you.
If you end up opting to having smart connect disabled that is fine. Now the 2.4GHz has better range compared to the 5Ghz, but it is not faster then the 5Ghz. The 5Ghz is the other way around, it has shorter range, but it is faster.
General rule of thumb is devices that demand speed you want on the 5Ghz, say for video streaming or gaming. All other tasks such as basic browsing, email, can all be on the 2.4Ghz.

@Tony Hello and thanks for the general information. But I couldn't find the settings to activate Smart Connect in my router. Where is it located at?

Should be at Advanced > Wireless > Wireless Settings.
If you still do not see it, please provide a screenshot of the menu you see.
Also I realized you may not be in the US. If you look underneath your router, what is the country code the router has? For example, for products in the Unites States there is the country code of (US).
