AX6000 slow speeds
Recently purchased the ax6000 to replace my c5400. I don't currently have any AX devices but figured I'd be ready for later on and in the mean time everything should be the same. Wrong, I have 1gig internet and with the c5400 I would average between 450-600mbps on WiFi but now with the ax6000 I'm lucky to hit 300. I haven't really messed with the setting except to change the 5ghz to channel 36. What gives?

hmm okay- I went into my settings for 5ghz and had to enable multi user MIMO and my wifi suddenly jumped to full speed. Was getting abysmal but now i get 450 Mb/s to 500ish. on My ax wifi. I have to check my other boxes. Still not sure about LAN though - I will go back up and test

No luck - while it got better speeds on my ax wireless laptop - all of my ac devices are still capped at 50 and my wired connections are abysmal. I don't have time for all this so going to return it and get a different brand. Every web search I could see it was resolving host and hanging for a minute or too so not sure what is going on with it but I need it work out of the box and it just won't/

@GlenRoebuck Unfortunately it seems to be a hardware issue with the wifi. Internal speed tests in the router show full speeds. At this point TP-Link and Linksys are 2 brands I won't buy again. Netgear I've never had a problem with but the prices are a little to high. First time for me using Asus and so far no complaints. It's unfortunate this tp-Link is a bad product though

@Cali88 TP LINK. Please work on fixing compatability with older wifi standards. This is a real issue and your products are getting returned!

Hi how are you?
I was the problem too, but the fix is so simple.
My network configuration is:
Fiber --->>> Ont TP-link 6610 --->>> AX6000 --->>> RE450 --->>> RE450
My case when connected directly in my ONT I get the full speed of my ISP 300Mb, but when I connected into my router the connection limited to 75 ~ 95 to Download and 45 ~ 65 to upload.
Today I studied my case, I was thinking if my firmware was bugged but is not correctly, the problem is so much more simple.
The QoS have a default configuration to get from speedtest and this is the real problem.
The default configuration limited my connection exactly to 95 Down and 65 up. Then when I changed to 1024.0 Mbps to down and 1024.0 to up (this is the speed of ethernet of my Ont) the speed started working again with 300mb.
I hope it helps you with the problem.
And so sorry for my bad english guys I trying.
Bests.

@Cali88 I just bought one after reading good reviews only to be disappointed with capping my 1G to 100M. Waisted 45+ min with support only to help document the case instead of helping me with the issue.
I tried to manually setting the speed in the QoS with no resolve. Anyone else?
