Can I use my Archer A6 wireless router as a wifi extender?
Hello, my ISP just replaced my Archer A6 router with a new router optimized for fiber. I have a Ring doorbell down by our front gate but it's out of range for the wifi. My question: Can I use my old tp-link Archer A6 router as a wifi extender? And if so, how can I set it to do that?
Thanks!

I would recommend creating a new thread so your question does not get lost or possibly go unanswered.
In your situation, you would do the same configuration as far as killing the DNS server, setting a static IP on the A6. You will not touch the WDS. What you will do instead is connect the Ethernet cable from the LAN of the main router into the LAN of the A6. Here is a older guide that will show you how to connect them: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/417/
