Model: Adapter
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0

This router is not compatible with the intel 7260 ac wifi adapters in two of my computers.  This router has two options to broadcast: 1. 802.11 b/g/n (mixed) or 2. 802.11 b/g/n/ax (mixed).  If I choose option 1 my intel 7260 ac adapters can see my network and use this router.   If I choose option 2, my new computer with an 802.11ax adapter can see my network but my devices with ac adapters cannot see the network.  So, I have to drop my whole household back to 802.11n speeds in order to use this router with 802.11ac devices that are backwards compatible with the 802.11n standard.  There's no point to moving backwards.  Am I missing something?  If this isn't user error I'll be returning this router as it is a step back about 4 or 5 years, not a step forward.

BTW, I guess this router is so new that it isn't in the list of models so I chose "Adapter"  as the model for this post.

@Rexx

You will see this with any intel network adapter with AX networks. You will need to update the wireless drivers on your computer.

I saw the same thing on my computer when I first tried to connect to the AX50.

@Tony Thanks Tony.  Problem fixed.  One of my adapters' drivers was out of date, I went directly to Intel rather than letting Windows search for and not find the latest driver.  The other computer's driver was up to date.  I can't go back in time to be sure what happened to fix my problem on the second computer with the already up-to-date driver.  I see that the router's 5Ghz settings allow broadcasting on 802.11 a/n/ac/ax mixed.  I guess I didn't see that the 5Ghz band did broadcast 801.11 a/n/ac/ax yesterday although I thought I looked at those settings.  I did reinstall the up-to-date driver so maybe it had a problem yesterday that reinstalling it fixed.  Anyway, thanks again.

@Ndrw

The issue is not the motherboard, it is the driver of the wireless card so you need to look for the latest drivers for the wireless card assuming it is a intel.
